Having achieved great success as a wrestler, Dwayne The Rock Johnson moved on to acting, eventually becoming the highest-paid actor in the world. Whatever movie he took part in turned out to be highly popular, including a disaster film “San Andreas,” action “Fast Five” or Disney’s “Moana.” He will also make an appearance in two upcoming movies, “The Fate of the Furious” and “Baywatch.”

There’s one more title that is set to see the light of day this year in which Johnson will take part, as well. We are talking about “Jumanji,” an adventure film which is based on the 1995’s movie of the same title, which had the late Robin Williams in the leading role. Contrary to many people’s expectations, the forthcoming film will not be a reboot of the original one, but rather a continuation. Besides The Rock, “Jumanji” will also star Jack Black, Rhys Darby, Tom Matheson, Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas.

The great news is that it has been confirmed that the movie trailer will be released in not so distant future. It is scheduled to debut at CinemaCon later this month (more precisely, between March 27 and March 30). Johnson did confirm this information, but he did not make it clear whether the trailer would be available online right after the convention. We assume it will be, because The Fate of the Furious will hit theaters only a few weeks after CinemaCon, so it is highly likely that the trailer will be attached to it.

Unlike the original movie which was set in a board game, this one is expected to be set in a Jumanji video game instead. The film is directed by Jake Kasdan, and it will be released on December 22, 2017. Until then, don’t miss the trailer release. Follow us for more details and news about this highly anticipated title.
