Jeep has a remarkable history and during the World War II it was considered to be “the car that won a war”. The AWD Jeep from 1941 was used for communications and transportation of soldiers as well as weapons to fronts or to military bases. Today we have a Jeep Wrangler, which is a descendant of the Jeep from that rough period of mankind.

The 75th Anniversary Edition is here to remind us of the original military model. So, let’s see how good Wrangler was in the tests.

First of all, the 75th Anniversary comes with the military, green and muddy look. Dark bronze is used for this effect and you can see it on wheels, grilles, around fog lights and taillights and on the roof rails. Furthermore, the car is equipped with small, barely visible, black Jeep in profile on the lower-right corner of the inside of the windscreen. This is only one of many examples of fabulous details, which we will not mention at the moment.

The seats come in a black and vinyl with bronze details. You can find a 75th Anniversary logo on the seats, which is another nice touch to the interior. The design of the vehicle evoked positive comments from Jeep fans, but also from those who are not.

The Wrangler is equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine that produces 209kW and 349 Nm of torque. A five-speed automatic gearbox is used which makes the car easier do drive in the tough on-road conditions.

This car was tested off-road a couple of months ago and it was amazing. However, it was also tested on highways and suburban roads. Over the last couple of years, the Wrangler has become more refined, but it still has a rugged feel and rough roads are its terrain.

Steering of the 75th Anniversary may not be the smoothest and the suspension is stiff. Furthermore, there is maybe too much noise in the cabin, but all these downsides depict the character of the vehicle. If you own a Jeep Wrangler, just try driving it off-road and you will see how amazing it is.

Make sure, you get some training first if you have never done it before.
