An official premiere date has been given for the iZombie Season 3 by the CW. The third season of the show will premiere on Tuesday, April 4th at 9 p.m., after the season finale of Legends of Tomorrow and that will be its standard air time but after The Flash that is also coming back to TV.
When it comes to the cast of the third season, it will be the same as in the previous one. This means we’ll be watching Malcolm Goodwin again as Clive Babineaux, David Anders as Blaine, Rose McIver as Liv Moore, Rahul Kohli as Ravi, Aly Michalka as Peyton and Robert Buckley as Major.
Some characters will be periodically appearing in the third season. These include Chase Graves portrayed by Jason Dohring and Vivian Stoll played by Andrea Savage.
Furthermore, actors who will be guest stars are Daran Norris, who will take the role of Johnny Frost, Robert Knepper who will be Blaine’s dad Angus DeBeers, Eddie Jamison as Mr. Boss, Ken Marina as Brandt Stone and few others.
When it comes to the story of iZombie Season 3, it will mainly revolve around Vivian and Fillmore Graves. Liv will be struggling over the side she will choose – humanity or zombies when the unavoidable clash between the two happens.
There have been some difficulties keeping the plot interesting and to be honest, the second season was far beyond great, so there’s no doubt next season will be a success as well.
CW president Mark Pedowitz talked about the renewal of numerous shows in an earlier interview. He mentioned how CW became home for the majority of critically-acclaimed shows, which have fantastic plots and a great range of genres. There are all kinds, from musical comedies to superhero action and sci-fi dramas. Namely, they packed up 11 series for the 2016-2017 season, and all of them are highly popular. We are looking forward to seeing what they have prepared for us.
