As you already know Apple is working on a new phone – the iPhone 8. The Internet is riddled with news and rumors, but we found a leaked video showing that the new flagship will host a 5-inch screen and the vertically positioned dual camera! This new report is coming from Japanese website Macotakara, and as Fortune Magazine reports, iPhone’s supply chain in Asia claims that Apple is going to unveil the 5-inch iPhone along with a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models sometime next year.

This leaked info also states that the company is currently working on their third device in the lineup that will host a 5-inch display and a dual-lens rear camera similar to the one on the iPhone 7 Plus. Just a few days back we made an article about the iPhone 8 and its code name “Ferrari” which is supposed to signify that this model is going to be a premium smartphone model of 2017 iPhone series. But the question here is whether the “Ferrari” and the 5-inch screen iPhone are one phone or two separate gadgets?

According to some fans and critics, these two smartphones might as well be one. Why? Well, the iPhone 7 is said to be the predecessor of the iPhone 8, and because the iPhone 7 hosts a 4.7-inch screen. The other side of the coin is that the iPhone 7 Plus is believed to be the predecessor of the iPhone 8 Plus, mainly because it features a 5.5-inch screen and the iPhone 8 “Ferrari” that is currently being developed will host the 5-inch display. But these are all just guesses and speculations. What will come out of all this will be available to the general public sometime during Apple’s second fiscal quarter ending March 31, at least according to the Macotakara report.

But there is also something else you might have read about the iPhone 8 and it is a possibility that it will feature an all-glass body, edge-to-edge OLED display, a 3D camera, and a long-range wireless charging capability. The company also made an effort to enhance the camera capabilities by adding dual optical image stabilization and optical zoom range in the devices. These enhanced dual cameras, according to the report, will most likely come in a vertically mounted position which is a new thing, at least from iPhone! This way you can use your smartphone just like an ordinary digital camera when capturing videos or images, on its side. Neat!
