Monday Night Raw has visited the United Kingdom where the IC title match has been set for next week. During this edition of Monday Night Raw, Dean Ambrose and The Miz have been announced as co-General Managers for one night as neither Kurt Angle nor Stephanie McMahon was able to be on the show. The A-lister has won the number one contender spot last week, so that is why this two were put together again.

All of this was just the continuation of the storyline that WWE started last week. Ambrose and The Miz were mixed up during the whole show. Firstly, Ambrose put The Miz in a showdown with Finn Balor. When he tried to end the match, Ambrose made it a no disqualification match, stepping on The Miz’s toes again. The A-lister got his revenge when he put the champion in the main event with Bray Wyatt.

That was not all that The Miz did as he distracted Ambrose multiple times and stood tall over him at the end of the show while saying that he is going to be the next IC Champion. This duel between the Miz and Dean Ambrose was scheduled to happen at the Extreme Rules pay per view, the next PPV event that is Raw branded.

But, it seems that the plans have changed and that The Lunatic Fringe will have to put the title on the line next week against The Miz. IC belt has been prioritized on Monday Night Raw ever since the Dean moved to the red brand. That is why it is safe to say that this is the main event for next week’s show.
