As we already know, Braun Strowman injured his arm and the elbow in a recent match that he had on the European tour. Many believed that the sling with which he came out during the last Monday Night Raw episode was just a way for the company to sell the injuries of Strowman. But, it was later revealed that the sling was not a part of the storyline and that The Monster Among Men was really hurt.

Initially, the WWE though that he is going to miss four to eight weeks with his injury, but it seems that he is going to be out for much longer than that. As soon as the injury happened on the Euro tour that WWE had, Strowman immediately returned to the United States in order to get checked out and for the doctors to determine whether or not the situation is serious.

He had his evaluation this past Wednesday after which the doctors concluded that Strowman should have surgery. On Thursday, Braun had his intervention in Birmingham, Ala. with Dr. Jeffrey Dugas. In the midst of the procedure, among the other issues that he had, it seemed that Strowman’s elbow was destroyed and now he is expected to miss up to six months as a result of this turn of the events.

This is all official now as the WWE announced all of this on their official web page. It’s not a storyline or any preparation for future events. Braun Strowman will likely return later in the year before the end of 2017.
