Wrestlemania is the biggest event of the year that WWE produces. Because of that, they always want for their biggest stars to show up and be the part of it in some way, shape or form. Stars like The Rock and Steve Austin have been important pieces of a previous couple of Manias, but this time, both of them were missing.
While we know that The Rock couldn’t make it as he was busy promoting his new movie Fate Of The Furious, we never actually got the answer explaining why Stone Cold Steve Austin wasn’t at the grandest stage of them all.
During the latest edition of Stone Cold podcast, The Texas Rattlesnake went on to explain his decision to reject the offer from the WWE to appear in Orlando. He was in the process of working on his ranch and in the process of selling it so he couldn’t go down to Orlando and be a part of the Ultimate Thrillride. He also added that he loves the company and that he is the permanent member of the Universe.
“I will always be a part of the WWE. The WWE will always be a part of my life. Man, I’m in this thing for the rest of my life. That’s the relationship I have with the WWE. So there’s never been no heat, no this, no that, no whatever. I’m at a great place with those guys and I’m thankful for everything they’ve done for me. I’m sure they are thankful for the things I did for them. Again, I’m a WWE member for life.”
