Heel Factions That Need To Happen In WWE

Ever since the Nexus broke down at the hands of John Cena, we really didn’t have a dominant heel faction. Yes, there was the Shield with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose, but later they turned babyface before Seth Rollins betrayed them and started working with Triple H and the Authority. League Of Nations faction was the most recent bust. Here are the ones that could work very well.

The Club – Finn Balor, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson – Since AJ Styles is on the SmackDown Live brand, Finn Balor can take over as the leader of The Club if WWE wants to make him a heel. Right now, Balor is a babyface, but his gimmick can also be a great villain act on the main roster. If he gets stale with his current one, WWE’s best option is to pair him with Anderson and Gallows.

Dirty Heels – Boby Roode, Austin Aries, The Miz – Roode and Aries worked under this name in the TNA. WWE could revisit this idea, but if they go with it, they would probably change their name. Still, Roode and Aries could be booked as guys that are trying to take over the WWE, and they are looking for a new blood in their faction. Miz could join them while Fandango and Tyler Breeze could also be good options.

The Varsity Club – Shelton Benjamin, Jack Swagger, Jason Jordan, Chad Gable – American Alpha is the ultimate babyface tag team right now, but it seems that WWE really doesn’t know what to do with them. They could get a bit boring pretty quickly as they are not wrestling a lot of matches on SmackDown Live. Their characters are not what got them over in the NXT, it’s their wrestling. Benjamin and Swagger, who were both amateur wrestlers like Jordan and Gable, could feud with them and later American Alpha could join them as heels.

The Bloodline – Roman Reigns, Usos, Nia Jax – All of these superstars are Samoan, all of them are heels. Well, at least in fans eyes. WWE is hell bent on keeping Roman face even though he gets booed at every single event. If WWE decides to turn Roman Reigns heel, they could give him the whole faction and let him run away with the gimmick. He is a natural villain, but the company still thinks that he is best as a face.
