After “Pokemon GO” had become one of the most popular games worldwide, its developer Niantic came up with the idea of creating another game for Harry Potter fans as the target audience, which will be called “Harry Potter GO”. This information hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but numerous fans of “Harry Potter” books and movie series, whose last installment was released five years ago, are still very excited about the possibility to see their favorite wizard in a video game.

What has made the fans even more excited is “Harry Potter GO” mockup trailer which is now available on YouTube. The characters in the clip are shown in an AR world living their ordinary lives – chasing after beasts, collecting wizarding cards and dealing with competitiveness between the four Hogwarts houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin).

Furthermore, it has been reported that there is also an online petition asking Niantic to develop the mobile application.

“Fantastic Beasts” Game: Release Date

Apart from “Harry Potter GO,” J. K. Rowling’s wizarding world has inspired one more mobile game – “Fantastic Beast: Cases from the Wizarding World.” While we still don’t have any official reports about the aforementioned game, the latter one has been scheduled to come out on November 17 on the App Store and Google Play, thus coinciding with the premiere date of the prequel “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

The game gives the players an opportunity to visit locations such as Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, and Leaky Cauldron. Furthermore, players will certainly be delighted to work for the Ministry of Magic so as to solve mysteries, explore the Hogwarts castle and be chosen for one of the four houses just like their favorite wizards.

All things considered, even though it might take some time until “Harry Potter GO” is finally released, Harry Potter fans can still try out the upcoming “Fantastic Beasts” game and keep their fingers crossed for the new one to come out as soon as possible.
