Green Bay Packers On A Collision Course With Detroit

It’s pretty safe to say that the offense in Green Bay is back. Aaron Rodgers has been nothing short of sensational ever since he stated that the team could run the table. His receivers are following his lead as Jordy Nelson is enjoying his best football of the seasons in December.

They put 38 points on the board against Seahawks defense just two weeks ago. Yesterday, they did the same thing to another defense that was always considered to be pretty good. Vikes are great on the defensive side of the ball, but that hasn’t stopped Aaron Rodgers from dominating the divisional rivals.

He went 28/38 for 347 passing yards and four scores without an interception. His go-to guy and the best wideout that the Packers have had 154 yards receiving to go with his two touchdown receptions.

This was an important game for Green Bay as they now hold their destiny in their hands. Detriot’s game with the Dallas Cowboys doesn’t matter. If they win, it’s a good thing for them of course and their chance for a Wild Card spot if they fail to win the division.

But as far as the race for the NFC North goes, that match doesn’t have a meaning as the duel in Week 17 between the Lions and the Packers will be the deciding one. If the Packers win in Detriot, they will be going to the Playoffs as divisional champions and probably 4th, maybe even 3rd seed.

If they lose, well, they are still in a decent position for a Wild Card spot, but they need some teams to lose in the final week of the regular season. Considering where they were five rounds ago before their winning streak started, they are now doing great.
