Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Might Launch A New Teleconferencing App GMeet

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is presumably experimenting a new telemarketing service for entrepreneurs. The service will be named as Google Meetings or GMeet. However, the company has not made any official announcement regarding the service, as of now.

Florien Kierch, a Google Plus user, recently revealed the screenshots of the app. The app seems to be based on Google Hangouts. Some experts believe that the service will be different than Google Hangout. The app is still in testing phase and has not been made available to public yet. Google meetings will help users to easily conduct teleconferencing calls and join meetings. Users can initiate meetings and invite other users to join, much like Google Hangout. However, the service will focus on providing an enterprise solution.

According to Kierch, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has created an extension for Google Chrome for the app. It is said that the app is currently available only to the Google employees. The app is specifically designed for businesses. The company seeks to provide a teleconferencing solution for corporate meetings. Google Meetings or GMeet, as it is referred, will be the solution the company is looking for.

The launch of this new app might just be a speculation as the access to this app is currently restricted to Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) employees. This leads one to believe that the service may only be for internal workplace of the company. However, the idea is not that bad if one considers the teleconferencing market. Many companies are seeking for a platform that will allow them to conduct meetings online. The demand is not just for a video/ audio conferencing but instead companies want a perfect solution that will allow them to hold corporate meetings in a professional way.

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is known for experimenting consistently for development of new apps. The company even allowed users to replace Google Talk with their new app, Google Hangout. GMeet or Google Meeting might just see the next product launch by the company. Although the company has not made any official statement for GMeet launch, the users are eagerly waiting for it.
