Apple Inc. (AAPL) Gold iPad Air 2 to Have Touch ID, Powerful Processor [Images]

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is all set for releasing new products and one such product is the Apple iPad Air 2. The interiors of gold iPad Air have been revealed by few pictures leaked by the Taiwanese blog Apple.club.tw. With these leaked images the rumors about the product claiming the device to feature a Touch ID sensor along with a powerful processor, have gained more weight-age. Apple Pay feature will also be there in the iPad Air 2 device.

Images suggest a powerful processor

A logic board with new A8X chip, a front assembly panel, a cable for the Touch ID home button and a cable for the volume buttons can be seen in the new images leaked by the Taiwanese blog.

The leaked images shows the interior of the Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) device’s, and we can see the logic board with new A8X chip, which is an upgraded version of the A8 chip. The RAM could also be upgraded to 2GB instead of 1GB on the existing iPad Air.

As the date of release approaches the rumor mills are generating new information. The new iPad Air 2 is rumored to come in golden color according to one rumor and another says that it will sport a Touch ID sensor.

Rumors surrounding Apple event

The company is expected to launch the new iPad air 2 device at the California headquarter on Thursday. Not only this, the iPhone maker could also release iMacs with retina display and the Yosemite Mac software.

The new product from the company is rumored to be a 12.9-inch screen iPad, and the experts believe that these tablets will feature split screen capabilities. The company has fixed the date of 24th October for the release of the new devices iPad Air 2 and iMac. The new Mac software also known as Yosemite will be offered for free on the same day.

Also, a recent report from John Paczkowski of Re/code suggested that the rumored new MacBook Air may not debut at the event later this week, but a new iMac with a high-resolution Retina display could be on its way.
