Who Is Going To Face Lesnar At Royal Rumble?

Brock Lesnar has successfully beaten AJ Styles at the Survivor Series PPV in his final match of 2017. The Beast Incarnate is not going to defend his title this year again as his next duel is going to be at the Royal Rumble which takes place on January 28th of the new year. Right now, we don’t know who is going to face Brock at the second most important pay per view of the season.

There were reports that Finn Balor is the next challenger as he still didn’t get his title shot that he deserves. After winning the Universal Championship, Balor had to give it up the next night because of an injury. He never actually lost the belt in a match which is always more than enough for somebody to get a Championship opportunity.

Vince really doesn’t view Balor as the main event guy right now as he believes that outside of his Demon King persona, Finn doesn’t offer much and that he is not over with the fans. That leaves the spot open.

In our opinion, since there are almost no challengers for Brock outside of Roman Reigns who is being saved for Wrestlemania as Lesnar’s opponent, WWE should go with a triple-threat match between Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. That would be an amazing clash to see.

We had Joe vs. Lesnar one-on-one, just like Braun vs. Lesnar, but the triple-threat battle is something that we still haven’t seen from these guys and something that is a dream match worthy.

All of these men are more than capable of putting on a show. Three legit superstars battling for the biggest prize on the brand is something that WWE should consider booking for the Royal Rumble.
