Giants Win A Crucial Divisional Game Behind Eli’s Great Day

Games in which we call Eli Manning’s performance great are not coming often. So, the Giants fans should enjoy this moment as Eli had a great day in New York against the Philly Eagles. He threw four touchdown passes in that game and led his team to the most important win of the season.

Yes, he did throw two interceptions, but that is what we and Giants’ fans are used to see from Eli. The most important thing is that he didn’t turn the ball over when it mattered the most and the fact that he was able to find his wideouts in the end zone.

Even though Odell Beckham Jr. didn’t have many receiving yards, his presence was felt. He did end up with only 46 yards receiving, but two of his receptions were for the touchdown. Shepard had a bit more receiving yards, 50 to be exact, but he caught one TD pass less than Odell did.

This is a huge win for the Giants in more ways than one. First of all, they are trying to keep up with the Dallas Cowboys, so every win is important. Secondly, with this victory, they are distancing themselves from the Eagles in the division. Thirdly, they might not be able to catch the Cowboys, but it’s not all over for them if they don’t. Giants are in the running for that wild card Playoff spot so every game is highly important for them.

Does this mean that better days for Eli Manning and New York Giants are coming? We are not so sure about that, but we certainly hope so.
