Ford EcoSport Facelift is Coming in January 2017

Ford upgraded their EcoSport and it is ready for the next year as the launch of this vehicle will take place in January 2017, according to the announcement from the carmaker. This model has conquered the Indian market, positioning itself at the top of the sales list, after it was introduced in 2013. Moreover, the EcoSport is also sold in more developed countries such as Australia.

The new facelifted version will have a redesigned headlamp cluster, while the front grille will look a bit different. In addition, the rear bumper and the taillights have been modified as well, and the new model looks sportier than ever.

The cabin of the EcoSport has been refreshed, and it is going to sport a large 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SYNC3 OS for smartphone connectivity. Some of the features on the new model will be parking sensors, navigation, and rear parking assist camera, while the passengers will have a chance to relax and enjoy the music coming from a high-quality sound system delivered by Bang and Olufsen.

2017 Ford EcoSport Engine

The EcoSport facelift will be equipped with the same 1.5-liter diesel engine and a 1.5-liter petrol unit. The former is good for 100 bhp and 205 Nm of torque, whereas the latter delivers 110 bhp and 140 Nm of torque. These engines will be mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The new upgraded EcoSport will go against cars such as Vitara Brezza and Renault Duster.
