Social media is what drives the world lately, and that is why it’s no wonder that it recently determines if a movie, series, a song or whatever that is already released or on its way becomes popular or not. Why are we telling you this, well the reason is simple?! Social media is what’s making the new spin-off of the Harry Potter movie series called Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them more popular than the Spider-Man: Homecoming and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The domination of this upcoming movie is significant over the other big names, some of them mentioned above. After the release of the third full trailer for Fantastic Beasts last week, the social media exploded. September 28th when this third trailer was released lead to 62,000 new conversations, bringing the movie’s total to more than 592,000 (and growing) cumulative conversations. To compare it with others, so you can get the feel of the buzz that was going on at the point, Spider-Man: Homecoming stacked up over 32,000 new conversations thanks to a new set of photos from the movie’s New York shoot, which we also reported on by the way. Furthermore Rogue One gained almost 30,000 new conversations, but mostly because of latest Going Rogue webisode that was released and the news regarding Lyra Erso. The fourth and the fifth place are taken by Fifty Shades Darker and Doctor Strange. All of these information’s were reported by Variety (via ComScore).

As we previously mentioned the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a spin-off of the main Harry Potter movie series that has concluded five years ago, meaning that it has pretty big shoes to fill. For you who did not see any of the trailers for this movie, we can tell you that this one is supposed to bring us a new batch of Wizard World adventures on the big screen, and it will be led by the entirely new cast. According to reports, it will take place in prior to already published movies, specifically over 60 years before the main events in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. The story follows Newt Scamander, an eccentric and introverted employee of the Ministry of Magic who comes to New York City to meet with an official from the Magical Congress of the USA. From there nothing goes as planned, a simple business trip turns into a disaster, where monsters escape from Newts briefcase, leading to the point that it turns into one big “monster” hunt. During the hunt, they will come across many obstacles in the form of Auror Percival Graves and New Salem Philanthropic Society group determined to destroy all witches and wizards.

The enthusiasm grows even higher with the info that they will come to the theaters near you on November 18. Lord have mercy and grant us patience!
