Fans of Fairy Tail here is a treat for you! If you happen to own an XBOX or any other Microsoft device, you will be very glad to hear that the company has decided to offer you the first season of Fairy Tail for free. And no, this is not a joke, it is totally free.

If you are still reluctant to believe us, jump to the Microsoft Store and you will see a special offer that was recently put up to delight the Fairy Tail fans. Those of you who watch this show can now get the first 12 episodes of this very long-lasting anime online. As I mentioned already everyone with XBOX or any other Microsoft device will be able to seize this opportunity. For those who didn’t watch this at all and are willing to give it a go (for the sake of the special offer), if you happen to get attracted to this, episodes featured Fairy Tail’s English dub and further seasons are available of course, but only for purchase.

We also found a “statement,” if you like, from the Microsoft Store regarding the Fairy Tail Season One: “Lucy wants nothing more than to join Fairy Tail, the most rambunctious wizard’s guild in Fiore. When a phony lures her onto his ship with the promise of getting into the guild of her dreams, her newest friends arrive to bail her out!”

For all of you who are not familiar with the show, some insight might be in order. The anime revolves around a guild of young, powerful wizards who call Fairy Tail family. The show is set in a fictional earth where a boy called Natsu teams up with an unlikely friend Lucy Heartfilia who dreams of becoming a powerful wizard. If you are not aware, this anime has more than 250 episodes to date, and the best news is that fans can definitely expect more this year.

A nice piece of info is that several million copies of the Fairy Tail has been sold worldwide. Thanks to the Del Ray publisher in the west, there are over 35 million volumes of the manga in circulation at the moment. Kodansha Comics are now in charge in overseeing the release of Fairy Tail projects in the U.S. as well as other western territories, and thanks to this and the licensing return, the publisher managed to earn even more popularity. Some other shows like Attack on Titan have also helped the Kodansha Comics to be visible outside Japan’s borders which is a great deal for them, but for the fans as well, because that means that even more content will be pushed as it becomes available.
