Ezekiel Elliott Is Innocent, According to Michael Irvin

Michael Irving has been through a lot, and when he says that Ezekiel Elliott is not guilty, the fans should listen. Irving has been punished by the NFL and the law at some point in his life, so he knows what he is talking about. Zeke is fighting a legal battle to show that he should not be suspended, but even if he is proved to be guilty by the league, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it is true.

Irvin told 105.3 The Fan: “We keep talking about is he fighting for his name, fighting for his innocence. His innocence has already been proven by the police.”

The NFL cannot be more relevant than the courts, and they didn’t come up with additional evidence which the courts ignored. If the court couldn’t find Elliott guilty, why it is important for the league to suspend him, if he is already innocent, explains Irvin. Now, Zeke is fighting for his career, since his name has already been cleared.

“He’s not fighting for guilt or innocence,” Irvin continued. “He’s fighting the league in the implementation of their domestic violence policy. So when people tell me he’s fighting for his name and guilt or innocence, he’s already innocent, and you haven’t given it to him. So you’re never giving it to him! Shut up and get out of my face with that. The reality of this situation that this young man is in is…he’s already been proven innocent or whatever you want to call it by the police. He’s not fighting for that.”

And he is right. The NFL is trying to prove something that the justice system couldn’t. They are pushing this case further on and if Roger Goodell gets a victory does that mean that the court cases should be sent to the NFL instead of regular courts? This has become ridiculous, and the only two people who know what happened are Elliott himself and the accuser. Hopefully, the case will end anytime soon.
