Today it’s a great Monday for the Dallas Cowboys fans. What a day it was for them and for their young players. Future is bright in Dallas as their rookie running back was just as impressive as their rookie signal caller. The 49ers defense just had no answers for these two Cowboys that were greatly supported by entire squad.

Ezekiel Elliot has been improving in each game that has passed. His average yards per carry have been increasing in each match, and he just looks like he is learning what it takes to play at an NFL level. Seems more patient, hitting the holes when he needs to.

After 30 carries in Week 4, he did see 23 carries in this week. But he had just 2 yards less than he did last week. He followed his 140-yard performance last week with a 138-yard game in this round. The difference is that he had much more of those long runs this time as he averaged 6 yards per carry.

That 26-yard run after Claiborne interception was one of his best plays in the NFL so far and that was the longest run of his young career.

With this win, Cowboys are now 3-1. just behind the Eagles as they had a bye week this Sunday. They will face the Bengals next week, and Ezekiel Elliot will have to continue performing at a high level for this team to be successful. He has set the bar high, but he can do it as he is transforming into one of the best running backs in the NFL.
