Just under two years ago, Enzo Amore and Big Cass were by far the most popular tag team in the company. They were celebrated in every single arena all over the United States. If there weren’t for the Hardy Boys who made their return at Wrestlemania 33, Enzo and Big Cass would have won the tag belts. Instead of that, they broke up this summer when both of them took different paths.
They had a feud on WWE TV, but that almost never means that they have a bad relationship in real life. Well, this situation is a bit different as the two former partners don’t talk to each other at all anymore. Fans were questioning why the company decided to split them up this summer, and their private relationship just might be the answer to that question.
WWE Network premiered their new show Straight to the Source, and Enzo Amore was the first guest. He talked about his run with the company with the host of the show, Cory Graves.
One of the most interesting things that we found out during the show is that these two stars don’t even talk anymore. Enzo wished nothing but the best to Cass, but he doesn’t want to do any kind of business with him in the future.
He was also really bitter about the fact that he couldn’t finish his match with Big Cass when he got hurt. Even though Amore knows that injuries are tough, he stated that he was going through a lot of pain in his clashes with Cass but that he always got up and fought until the end. Cruiserweight champion expected the same from his former partner.
