Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Shares his Hulk Throwback Halloween Photo

From time to time, Dwayne Johnson loves to surprise his fans who follow him on social media with a throwback photo. On Thursday, he shared one when he “dressed” as the Incredible Hulk for Halloween. We could say that Johnson nailed the costume. Ripped muscles. Check. Green paint. Check. Torn jean shorts. Check. Hair. What is wrong with his hair, though?

Dwayne said that he was ready to smash everything that night, just like the Incredible Hulk, but he got disappointed when he saw what his hair turned up to be like. He added hashtags: “#HulkNoLike #ButHulkStillSmash.”

The Rock is just one of few actors who could actually play Hulk without CGI technology. But we are still waiting for this guy to appear in any comic-book adapted superhero film. However, this is going to change in near future because Johnson has some “heroic” projects in the pipeline.

It has already been two years when Dwayne wrote on Instagram that he would play “the world’s first superhero” Clack “Doc” Savage in a movie that will be helmed by Shane Black, who directed Iron Man 3. The 45-year-old actor pointed out: “Doc was physically and mentally trained from birth by his father and a team of scientists to become the perfect human specimen with a genius level intellect.”

He was excited about the part because Doc was a “hilarious weirdo!” Johnson continued: “Confidently, yet innocently he has zero social graces whatsoever due to his upbringing, so every interaction he has with someone is direct, odd, often uncomfortable and amazingly hilarious.”

In the meantime, the project was halted and, according to Pure Grain Audio, it might not be continued at all. But this doesn’t mean that Johnson would not appear in a superhero movie. According to rumors, he is supposed to be Black Adam, Shazam’s arch-enemy in the upcoming project. If this turns out to be true, it will be interesting to watch Dwayne playing the bad guy. Rumor also has it that Johnson will appear in a cameo role as Black Adam in Deadpool 2.
