Earlier this month Fijian-born wrestler was acquitted of charges for the involvement of death of his former girlfriend Nancy Argentino which happened in 1983. After the charges were dropped Judge Kelly Banach stated that “it would be unjust to resume the prosecution.”

Snuka began his wrestling career in the 1970s and became a member of WWE in 1982. He, similarly to what Dwayne The Rock Johnson did later, made a name for himself. He was famous for his trademark move called Superfly Splash. This step consisted of him climbing the ropes and then taking a moment to flash a signal with his thumb, index finger and pinkie before jumping on his opponent and causing a chest to chest clash.

Because of his exploits, he was inducted into Wrestling Hall of Fame and WWE as an organization posted a statement on their website. They wrote the following: “WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy ’Superfly’ Snuka has passed away. Snuka is regarded by many as the pioneer of high-flying offense because of his Superfly Splash from the top turnbuckle. His dive off the top of the steel cage onto Don Muraco at Madison Square Garden as hundreds of flashbulbs went off will forever live as one of the most memorable moments in WWE history. WWE extends its condolences to Snuka’s family, friends, and fans.”

Jimmy Snuka is going to be missed by great WWE community, friends like Dwayne Johnson and his family which consists of daughters Sarona, Ata, and Liana and son Deuce.
