Rampage hit the theaters last weekend, and judging by its box office success a lot of people went out to see it. Dwayne Johnson did everything in his power to promote this film, and he even went as far to appear personally at one of the screenings. One lucky kid got a chance to meet The Rock in person. The young boy in question got to see Rampage as a birthday gift, but he got a lot more than he ever hoped. The People’s Champ sang “Happy Birthday” to him. You can see the Instagram post below.

Rampage star captioned the picture by saying: “Imagine being a 12yr old boy who goes to see RAMPAGE with his family on his BIRTHDAY. THEN… The Rock shows up outta nowhere and surprises the entire theater.. AND THEN winds up singing happy birthday to the birthday boy. Should’ve seen the look on Vinny’s face when I was singing to him and shook his hand. Great birthday moment surprising fans last night at screenings of RAMPAGE. He was so nervous he forgot how old he was. 😂👊🏾 Its all good kid, I forget how old I am too. That’s why I always act like a kid. #SurprisingFans #YouNeverKnowWhenDJWillPopUp #BestPartOfMyJob #RAMPAGE.”

The two spent some time on the stage and talked about what’s their favorite part of the movie. The young boy, Vinny launched some spoilers when he described a particular scene in the film, but we’ll skip that part here.

In the end, this 12-years-old is going to remember this event till the rest of his life. Dwayne Johnson once again showed the world why is that people love him so much. This type of interaction with the fans is something that sets him apart from any other celebrity. Johnson himself often highlights the importance of fans for him and his success. If you can remember, during the promotion of Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle Dwayne visited a terminally ill grandmother in the hospital; when San Andreas was in theaters, he had an encounter with a boy who saved his brother’s life using CPR he saw in Johnson’s movie.

The man of the people. Good guy, Dwayne The Rock Johnson.
