Dwayne Johnson on SNL – Three Amazing Sketches

We shouldn’t even start talking about the full and rich history of Saturday Night Live. Even though the program often struggled to be true to itself when the world around changed, it always managed to be fascinating.

The show’s DNA is solid, but the people in it are constantly changing, and SNL announced that Bobby Moynihan and Vanessa Bayer will not appear anymore after the season finale. The change of cast is natural and it is what keeps the show alive.

We need to mention Dwayne Johnson who has joined the Five-Timers Club and his charisma is what everybody loves. He was in some not-so-great sketches, but there are some shows which will definitely be remembered for a long time.

WWE Promo Shoot 2

This is a spectacular iteration of a wrestling promo in which Koko Watchout (The Rock) and Trashyard Mutt compete in an exchange of words. It is a ridiculous sketch, and Johnson is one of the best promo deliverers ever, so we knew that he was ready for a verbal smackdown. However, the insults made this sketch great – each time they were bigger and bolder and weirder than before. Shout out to Moynihan who changes his moods in five minutes in an amazing manner.

Dwayne Johnson Five-Timers Monologue

The Rock and Tom Hanks might run for office in 2024, and this is what marked his monologue. Everyone loves these two guys and together they can change the US, while they are also funny to watch. Alec Baldwin also appeared during the monologue, but after he had left the stage, Johnson and Hanks mention why they would be great leaders of the country. The jokes were fine, but their charisma was outstanding.

Rap Song

Besides Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump and Melissa McCarthy’s Sean Spices, this season of SNL will be remembered for David S. Pumpkins. Pumpkins is quite popular, and there is no point in trying to explain why, so just don’t bother. This is a parody of DJ Khaled’s song “I’m The One” and it mocks all those rap songs with too many MC cameos. Everyone may have a different favorite character in this short video, but Pumpkins is definitely the one that drew most of the attention.
