Dwayne Johnson met a young man who saved his brother’s life by performing a move he learned from The Rock’s movie San Andreas. Jacob O’Connor is a 10-year-old boy who lives in Detroit, and he saw his brother, who is only two, fall into the pool.

His brother lay motionless face down for one minute when Jacob pulled him out and started with the chest compressions, just like those Johnson’s character Raymond Gaines does in the popular disaster film from 2015. The superstar wanted to meet the boy after he found out what had happened as the news reports spread out the word like wildfire.

Johnson posted a video on his social media pages saying: “I’m so proud of you. It is such an honor meeting this kid.” This little man, who is also Johnson’s fan hung out with Dwayne on the set of his ongoing film, Skyscraper. Interestingly enough, the boy wore a shirt with the actor’s iconic bull insignia on the front, whereas on the back, there was a photo of The Rock holding his two dogs, Brutus and Hobbs which he rescued from the pool.

“Seeing that picture on this boy’s shirt, got me in the gut,” Johnson wrote with the video on Instagram. “Eventually, we would lose Brutus to heaven, but it wasn’t the picture of Brutus that made me tear up, it was the fact that this 10-year-old kid, had a heart big enough to put our puppies on his shirt after he saved his little 2-year-old brother’s life. What a special day. What a special kid. Thanks Jacob for being awesome and for being the kind of person we all aspire to be.”

Below, you can see the video of Johnson with Jacob.

Jacob was super nervous and shy the whole time we hung out, so it was fun getting him to laugh and talk. He threw me for an unexpected spin when he showed up on set wearing a shirt that he proudly made with my bull insignia on the front and on the back was the picture of me holding our two puppies, Brutus and Hobbs, after I rescued them from our pool.
