Believe it or not, it has been as many as ten years since American comedy movie The Game Plan was released. This film was directed by Andy Fickman and written by Nichole Millard, and it saw the light of day on September 28, 2007. The comedy stars Dwayne The Rock Johnson in one of the main roles (he plays Joe Kingman), together with Kyra Sedgwick as Stella Peck, Morris Chestnut as Travis Sanders, Roselyn Sánchez as Monique Vasquez, and Madison Pettis as an 8-year-old Peyton Kelly. Marv Albert and Boomer Esiason also appeared in The Game Plan portraying themselves.

Now, ten years after the original release, two of the main actors – Johnson and Pettis – express how nostalgic they are remembering the movie and its filming. Namely, the young actress posted a photo on Twitter with a caption which says: “The Game Plan 10 Year Anniversary! Can’t believe it came out in theaters 10 years ago today @TheRock.” Having seen this, The Rock replied: “Wow time flies! So grateful for this one and how lucky I was to have such a lil’ star.” Then Pettis couldn’t help but express her own gratitude to have had an opportunity to work with such a huge star: “Awww! I’m lucky I got to work with such a ‘huge’ star who made filming my first movie the best experience!”

In case you haven’t watched it, the movie revolves around an NFL quarterback who finds out he has an 8-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, which, of course, changes his life completely. As previously mentioned, the main role was trusted to Johnson, who made a memorable performance playing Joe Kingman, a huge football star whose life is perfect until he finds out the great news. Soon afterward, he has to switch from being an excellent football player who is single and enjoying the life to the fullest to the role of full-time parent.
