Bond, James Bond! You have probably heard this numerous time in your life, whether as a joke or from a movie, but if you haven’t lived under the rock for the past 50 or so years, then you must have heard about it. The 007 is the trademark number of this agent about whom many famous movies have been made. But how does this have anything to do with the tennis player Novak Djokovic? Well, here it is.

The second racket of the world, Novak Djokovic, believes that he can win Australian open for the seventh time in the row and thus become a Serbian James Bond. In a case that this actually happens this year, Novak would become one of the most successful tennis players in the history of this tournament. So far Roy Stanley Emerson (ex Australian former number one tennis player) and Djokovic, have six titles between them in Melbourne.

Djokovic even gave a statement saying “Why not, 007, 2017, all is in the sign of the number seven. I’m not a numerologist, but it sounds great. I will do my best to raise the cup again in Melbourne, which certainly will not be easy. It is well known that Australian Open is my favorite Grand Slam and here, I always felt nice.” He also said that the fact that this time him coming as a second tennis player of the world does not change a thing when Melbourne is considered.

Djokovic also took the time to praise his colleague Andy Murray with words “Andy is fully deserved to be where he is, and I look forward to the rivalry. I do not feel any different, I am psyched and I want to make a good result. I know I’m not the only one who is excited about this tournament, but I always get goose bumps when I’m here.”

The first Grand Slam of the season, the Australian Open is starting on Monday, January 16th. We will all be watching and cheering for you Nole! Good luck!

My name is Miloš Kalajdžić and I come from Brčko DC in Bosnia. I was born on July 20 th 1988 and so far I obtained a BSc in economics and one year of working experience in my field of study. I am a very hard-working person who leaves nothing unfinished and halfway done. When I commit to something I give my best to make sure that everything is done the way as it is supposed to be. I like cars and everything that comes with them. My passion are American muscle cars, but unfortunately the closest I managed to come near one is behind my laptop watching an image of the new Chevy or Dodge and writing about it. But that’s ok I’m still optimistic. When I’m not behind the laptop writing I’m on the streets and auto shows admiring all stuff rolling on four wheels being propelled by a petrol engine!
