The side under the name appeared on the internet, making the fans know that “Evil has Survived”. Moreover, there is a countdown to something even eviler. The Lord of Terror, Diablo, himself sneers vengefully.

The countdown reaches zero when the BlizzCon starts and it appears that the site was created on August 18, 2016. It is nearly a year from the day the new Diablo undertaking was announced and it is currently in progress. It looks like the pieces are falling into their place. But is this really the truth?

PCGamer asked Blizzard what is going on with the site and his response was:”This isn’t ours.” For all the fans of the game, this is a disappointment. It seems that the website is not real. Diablo 2 was supposed to be upgraded to the HD and that idea was intriguing for a moment, but unfortunately that is not going to happen.

However, the HD variant is not completely off the table. It appears that the art director position has been filled. Moreover, Blizzard is still looking for a replacement at the game director position, considering that the Josh Mosqueira passed away. Whatever Blizzard is up to, the fans will have to be patient.

BlizzCon 2016 will be last from November 4th to November 5th. You can purchase your tickets at As it seems the HD version will not appear for now, but there is some news expected at BlizzCon.
