According to various sources, Destiny 2 arrives for PC, but also for PS 4 and Xbox One. The next sequel is supposed to be released next fall. The game was scheduled for this September, but it has been postponed, just like it happened with the first part.

For the record, Destiny had over 30 million players registered since the launch in 2014, so it comes as no surprise that there is so much hype about this game.

A rumor started yesterday on NeoGAF where it has been written that “somebody who works at Activision” confirmed that there was a talk between employees about Destiny 2 and its PC version. Kotaku’s Jason Schreier cited the sources that confirmed this rumor.

Moreover, the probability that the game will appear for PC is high because Activision and Bungie officially abandoned the consoles such as Xbox 360 and PS 3 when they introduced their last expansion – Destiny: Rise of Iron. With the development of game consoles and the launch of PS4 Pro and Xbox Project Scorpio, it is expected that the game developers can include the high-end PCs along the consoles when it comes to launching the game.

As Schreier said this was supposed to be a “proper sequel” considering that so far we have only had expansions and additions to the already existing game. According to one of the sources:”The Taken King was a reboot for Destiny 1 to fix small things. This is the overhaul to fix big things.”

I am sure that Destiny 2 will meet the expectation and the fans will finally enjoy playing this game on PC.
