Ryan Reynolds and Tim Miller have got into a huge argument which resulted in Miller’s departure from the Deadpool 2. They had their differences because their visions of the Deadpool’ sequel went to completely two different directions. Tim Miller played an enormous role in creating the first movie, but he did not fall in line with Reynolds’s perception of the sequel.

In an interview with GO, Reynolds gave some general comments on the matter:
“Making the movie was very, very difficult,” he said. “It was the most passionate group of individuals I’ve ever worked with in my life. And for whatever reason, that mercurial crazy burgoo of people is what made this thing work so well, not just because I had this vision and I saw it this way and it had to be this way. It worked because we all had that feeling”.

“But there were vaguely scary fights in the post-production process that escalated quickly. Luckily, everybody’s grown up and at the end of the day enjoys and loves each other.”

“Tim’s brilliant and nobody worked harder on Deadpool than he did.” Reynolds continued.

On his further work on the upcoming sequel, Reynolds added:
“There are character and tone things that I know really well. And I’ve also been with this thing the longest out of anybody, aside from the guys that wrote the comics.”

“So I’m gonna be all the f***k over it from the moment it starts to the moment it finishes.”

However, the future of the new installment seems brighter and not so remote since the project has got its new director – David Leitch. His directorial debut was made with John Wick, the film which stars Keanu Reeves as a lead actor. Having such an experienced leader could only benefit the sequel. Let’s just hope that the cooperation between Reynolds and Leitch will not share the same destiny as the previous one.
