Some of Deadpool fans seem to have forgotten that Brianna Hildebrand is coming back as Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Deadpool 2. Although she hasn’t read the script yet, she promises it will be rather good.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead is one of the less popular X-Men characters who will appear along with the well-known Colossus.

The actress from Texas talked about her future and return of NTW at an event in Austin where she promoted her teenage comedy Tragedy Girls, which will arrive later this year. She mentioned how excited she was about the sequel of the movie.

While the script is still in progress, the pre-production team has already come up with some ideas via concept art. Negasonic is supposed to have a new look. Brianna talked about what she knew about it so far. She said that her character had grown and matured but that she still had an essence of a punk kid.

Apart from that, Brianna didn’t reveal any further details probably because she wasn’t familiar with them, but she talked about how Negasonic had become her character. She admitted Negasonic had reminded her of herself a lot in that age. Hildebrand could understand her role because of the great resemblance that existed between them. She even felt that if people liked her character, they in a way liked her too.

When it comes to the other characters in Deadpool 2, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus will team with Cable and Domino and there seem to be no other key X-Men joining the fight. There has been a rumor that Hope Summers may appear for the first time in this sequel, but nothing has been officially said on that topic yet.

As far as release date is concerned, 20th Century Fox has it settled on March 2, 2018. Shooting is supposed to begin this summer, and all we have to do is wait for this fantastic movie to hit the cinemas.
