Deadpool 2 gives a key role to Japanese actress Shioli Kutsuna

We are back with some important news on Deadpool 2. The movie has gone deep into the process of choosing the actors who are going to make part of this next installment, and the grand news is that Shioli Katsuna, a famous Japanese actress, has been given a role. She will get the chance to work with Ryan Reynold, who is coming back as the Merc with the Mouth. We still don’t know which part has been given to her, but we do know it’s a pivotal one. David Leitch is leading the project which is set to come out on big screens on June 1, 2018. A little less than a year away from the next chapter of Deadpool!

As we already know, the first Deadpool movie was nothing short of an amazing success, shaking the Globe. It was the top-grossing R-rated film reaching the amount of as much as $783M at the box office. The Japanese actress will become the part of a crew of which we also have some new names such as Josh Brolin who will be taking on a role of Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino. Apart from them, we will see Jack Kesy, as well as those that have a pleasure to come back again – Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Stefan Kapicic (Colossus) and Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead).

Kutsuna is most known for her plays in the indie film Oh Lucy!, which you had a chance to see at the Cannes Film Festival. She also took part in The Outsider, as Jared Leto’s co-star. The movie revolves around the U.S. army deserter (played by Jared Leto), and it follows the actions after the World War II set in Japan. At the moment Kutsuna is affiliated with Oscar Promotion. However, she is most famous due to her roles in Shinichi Kudo’s Written Challenge and Minami Maho in BECK.
