According to what seven-time world champion Big Show said it seems that Dave Bautista is actually the next Dwayne The Rock” Johnson of Hollywood, but could it be so? According to former WWE World Tag Team champion Bautista really has what it takes to follow the great footsteps of the everyone’s favorite boulder of a human Dwayne Johnson, and become a big-time actor.

Paul Donald Wight II aka Big Show spoke with TMZ on the topic of Bautista’s rising Hollywood career and claimed that what Bautista did so far is only the beginning of his acting career. This is especially obvious after his role as Drax in the hugely successful Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). As you may already know, Bautista is slated to appear in the sequel of Blade Runner later in the year with a reprise of his role as Drax in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). The Big Show’s endorsement and comparison of Bautista with Dwayne The Rock Johnson should only come as a praise and a compliment to him because as everyone on the planet knows Dwayne was the highest paid actor in Hollywood in 2016, grossing $64.5 million that year.

To those who do not know, Big Show made several successful feature films appearances like in Jingle All The Way and Star Trek: The Enterprise (2001-2005). But that is not all as he also appeared in multiple TV series like Burn Notice (2007- 2013), Psych (2006-2014), and Royal Pains (2009-2016). Let’s get back to Bautista. Thanks to his growing fame in Hollywood fans have been stirring up with claims that they would like to see more of Bautista back in the WWE ring. Those who followed his career know this but to rest Bautista’s career took off in 1999 under the ring name Deacon. He first signed with WWE in 2000 as Batista and rose quickly to fame after joining Ric Flair, Triple H, and Randy Orton in Evolution. He also won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship four times and WWE Championship two times. Besides that, this guy also won the World Tag Team Championship three times — two times with Ric Flair and once with John Cena.

But there is one statement which Bautista gave saying that “I don’t miss WWE. I miss wrestling, I just don’t miss dealing with the company and its b***s*it.” He said this in a recent Chris Jericho podcast, according to Bleeding Cool, and added “Yeah it’s the b***s**t man, it’s just too much b***s**t.” Jericho asked Bautista what would he like to do if he eventually changed his mind and returned to WWE and his answer was that he would like to team up with Triple H “I’ve talked to Triple H about it and I’ve talked to Vince McMahon about it”, and he added that “I said I would come back and run a whole program with Triple H. That’s the only thing I’m interested in doing. They’re just not interested in it, you know?”

There is also one funny thing that happened to Bautista, and that is the challenge to a wrestling match from Chris Prat. Bautista said this happened to the Men’s Journal “He called me out one night, during filming the first Guardians, and he sent me this long text in the middle of the night. It started off telling me how much he loved and admired me, and how he [considers] me a friend. Then out of nowhere it started talking about how he thought he could take me in a wrestling match, because of his wrestling background.” According to Bautista he actually texted “Let’s get together and have a match, Just you and me, nobody has to know.” Bautista continued “I saw him the next day and I asked him about it. He was like, “What text?” Apparently he had been drinking that night and didn’t remember sending it at all. We both started laughing. He felt so bad.”

My name is Miloš Kalajdžić and I come from Brčko DC in Bosnia. I was born on July 20 th 1988 and so far I obtained a BSc in economics and one year of working experience in my field of study. I am a very hard-working person who leaves nothing unfinished and halfway done. When I commit to something I give my best to make sure that everything is done the way as it is supposed to be. I like cars and everything that comes with them. My passion are American muscle cars, but unfortunately the closest I managed to come near one is behind my laptop watching an image of the new Chevy or Dodge and writing about it. But that’s ok I’m still optimistic. When I’m not behind the laptop writing I’m on the streets and auto shows admiring all stuff rolling on four wheels being propelled by a petrol engine!
