We are finally getting information about the Darksiders 3 that comes four years after the second installment. The only entry from original “Darksiders” released ever since was “Darksiders 2” remastered edition, so the fans are surely thrilled to hear about the next sequel.
According to Gamespot, Sweden publisher Nordic Games has acquired the remaining properties of the bankrupt American company THQ, “Darksiders” title included. Having purchased the rights to this game, Nordic Games first released the remastered edition mentioned above, but it has been said that the publisher has even bigger plans for the franchise.
Nordic Games executive producer has recently taken part in a discussion about “Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition”, stating that they will do their best to find a way to realize the “Darksiders 3” project. He has also explained that they used the remaster just to shed some light on the franchise and the community after such a long break and to pave the way for the new project.
Furthermore, Nordic Games has announced that their plan is to make the new installment well-detailed and in a 1080p resolution. The publisher has also explained that, hopefully, there will be “a large-scale project based on Darksiders”, but that at the time they need to focus on working on the existing games. This statement obviously suggests that “Darksiders” fans will probably have to be really patient waiting for their favorite game sequel to be released.
Darksiders 3 Release Date?
They refused to reveal any details about the title updates, so there are only speculations about what the new installment is going to look like. It is likely that the platforms the game will be available on will include Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The release date has not been set yet. We still waiting!
