Daniel Bryan Having A Real-Life Feud With Shane McMahon?

Source:wrestling-edge.com

The storyline between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon on the main roster has been a good one. Both of them have been a special guest referee during the Clash of Champions battle between Orton/Nakamura and Zayn/Owens. They butted heads a couple of times and were a major factor in deciding a winner. Bryan was clearly on the side of the heels who Shane wanted to screw over.

This is an interesting thing to see as we don’t know what is going to come out of this. They might end up feuding. Shane and Daniel battling for the supremacy on the blue brand would be a nice change of pace.

But, is there a real-life feud between the two faces of authority on the blue brand? Bryan recently did an interview talking about his possible return to the ring. At the end of the statement, he also mentioned Shane. Here is what the had to say:

“We’re still at the ‘No, you’re not wrestling again’ part of that conversation, but I have presented them with my case, which is a lot of testing and all that kind of stuff which shows ‘hey, I’m fine. ‘And so, uh, it’s interesting. It’s an interesting situation. But that has also caused a little rift between me and the commissioner, Shane McMahon, who is Vince McMahon’s son, because there’s like, I don’t know, there’s all that stuff going on. We work together really well, but we also have some beef.”

Daniel Bryan really wants to wrestle, and something like this is understandable. But, it doesn’t mean that he dislikes Shane McMahon. It’s just a small disagreement, which is more than normal in the WWE. It will be interesting to see what Daniel Bryan does when his contract with the WWE runs out. Does he leave the company if they don’t allow him to compete? We’ll have to wait to find out.
