When the players are on the field, they are fierce rivals, and they are battling for the win. Guys are going all out for their teams in order to get the win as every one of those can make a difference when the regular season ends. Especially when the squads are divisional rivals. But, when the season ends, they are showing that they have a lot of respect for the guys that they are competing against. The latest example of that is Dallas Cowboys star defending a New York Giants star.

Dez Bryant doesn’t agree with the criticism on which receiving end was Odell Beckham Jr. this past campaign.

“Whenever something doesn’t go right, as far as a team loss, y’all don’t like his actions, and all it is, is just him wanting to win the game,” Bryant told ESPN’s Jenna Laine on Saturday. “If more people were like that on his team, maybe they would do something special.”

This is the same season during which media talked about Odell’s antics with the net and his trip to Miami as well as multiple other things that he has done. Cowboys’ star receiver thinks that any off-field outburst from Beckham indicates just how much he wants to win and how much he cares about the game.

Bryant had some similar issues in the past as he is also known as a guy that is going all-out in each and every match in order to help his team win. When he won the game, he was the happiest man alive. When he lost, he let everybody know that it hurt him, even though he didn’t do it in a way that everybody liked. He thinks that the same can be said for Odell Beckham Jr as that guy is one of the best.
