Full NFL 2017 Season Schedule was released, and now we know when every single matchup this year is going to happen. As always, the season is going to be opened by the defending champions playing on their home turf against another quality team. This means that New England Patriots are going to be the team that kicks off the new season and their opponents are going to be the Kansas City Chiefs.

As far as the Cowboys are concerned, their season will start four days later on Football Sunday. First game for this team will be in the prime time on NBC as they will welcome the New York Giants. The game is a Sunday Night Football game, the first of the season for the Cowboys.

Dallas met with Giants twice last year, just like every single season. New York came out on top in both of those duels, with the Cowboys dropping those matches by 1 point and 3 points. The first showdown was also a Week 1 game, but it was an afternoon event and not a prime time matchup like it is going to be on the opening Sunday. Dallas had a chance in both games but fell just short as the offense really couldn’t score as many points as they ended up averaging per contest all season long.

New York has a great defense with a new big weapon on the offensive side of the ball. They should be a force to be reckoned with this season, and the Cowboys are going to have their hands full.
