Dallas Cowboys are facing the Atlanta Falcons, and they will have another man in the secondary which they can use. Chidobe Awuzie, the rookie defensive back, is going to be healthy for the game against the Falcons since he returned to the team’s practice on Wednesday and completed it at full capacity. Awuzie has had issues with a hamstring injury ever since the summer, but he did play three matches earlier in the season.

However, in Week 5, the Cowboys lost to Green Bay Packers, but to make things worse, his injury reaggravated. He said about his hamstring: “It’s feeling all right.”

Awuzie was in at Colorado college before he got selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the NFL Draft and he never had serious injuries. Things are looking good for this guy at the moment, but it is up to the team’s medical staff and coaches to decide whether he will play on Sunday. The rookie, who is likely returning to the field on Sunday, said: “It’s been frustrating, it’s something I’m not used to.”

Unlike Awuzie, who completed the practice on Wednesday, Tyron Smith, who struggles with the groin injury and Dez Bryant who hurt his knee and ankle were unable to participate. Meanwhile, defensive tackle Maliek Collins was limited. Dallas solved the problem by putting Brice Butler in Bryant’s spot while Chaz Green got a chance instead of Smith, but this was not his first time and he had already proven himself last season.

“I’m feeling good. It’s a position I’ve played before,” Green said. “I’m confident if I have to go out there, I’ll be ready to go. My mindset is always to go out there as though I’m starting.”

Also on the injury list is kicker Dan Bailey, who was replaced by Mike Nugent and wide receiver Noah Brown, who did practice in spite of an injury.
