When The Curse of Oak Island first appeared more than three years ago, they presented it as a TV show which “details the efforts of brothers Marty and Rick Lagina from Michigan in their attempt to solve the 220-year-old Oak Island mystery. Using modern technology and independent researchers, they seek the treasure or historical artifacts believed to be buried on Oak Island off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada.” Needless to say, with such description, many people were interested in finding out more about it even before watching a single episode. And so it began, and in December last year, the fourth season of the series was released.
Unfortunately, the two brothers had no luck in solving the mystery so far. Yes, they did find certain items, but it turned out that those clues only led them to more and more questions and no answers. Those of you who have followed the Lagina brothers’ journey know that Season 4 ended in February this year, once again, with no clear answer. So, the question is, when can we expect to see the new season which will, hopefully, finally reveal something about the great mystery?
Even though some of you might already be losing patience waiting for the breakthrough for so long, it seems that most viewers still haven’t lost their faith in Rick and Marty and are still intrigued to see what else they will find out. The reason for such attitude might lie in the fact that the treasure they are looking for is one of the greatest treasures in the history, so people simply can make peace with the fact that something so big will not be revealed eventually. On the other hand, others believe that it is the Lagina’s strong will and “never-give-up attitude” is what won’t let the audience lose hope.
The Curse of Oak Island Season 5 Release Date
When it comes to the Season 5 release date, we have to disappoint you and say that there have been no official announcements yet. But, bearing in mind that Season 4 premiered at the end of the year (November 2016), we can conclude that the upcoming sequel will probably be delivered by the end of this year. This is just our guess, for now, so stay tuned for more reliable news.
