Having done a little makeover, the White House is finally ready for the big reveal. A couple of pictures have been published that show how 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has been refurbished right this summer, when President Trump started his 17-day working vacation in Bedminster, New Jersey, at his golf club. The President got back to the White House on Sunday.

Cliff Sims, president’s special assistant, published on his Twitter: “The White House’s newly renovated Roosevelt Room looks incredible.” General Service Administration designers were responsible for all of the renovations.

Although the rooms in the White House were all dressed up, a lot of those upgrades are not discernible. That covers the 27-year old heating and air-conditioning system and IT system upgrade.

As soon you approach the White House, you will notice the renovations done.  For example, the South Portico porch got its stairs renovated.

Also, the sitting that is in the Rose Garden was also upgraded. As for the inside, the focal point of the White House, the Oval Office, was reconstructed in a more consistent-looking way, featuring new wallpaper.

Some new carpeting and paint were featured in the West Wing lobby. As for the new carpeting, it is with floral medallions inspired by the Rose Garden and the architecture in the White House.

As for the Roosevelt Room, the changes cover changing the beige carpet from the Obama-era with the one with more details in the design. As for the unchanged things, those are the flags, the landscape painting, President Roosevelt’s portrait and the sofa.

They also fixed the leaks at the White House and refurbished the West Wing lower lobby and the Navy mess kitchen.

While the renovating was being done, the staff of the West Wing who did not go to New Jersey with Trump was temporarily moved to an office next to the White House.

Earlier this month, Trump posted on his Twitter account and denied a report that when he was at the Trump National Golf Club, he said to his members that the White House is a “dump.”

“I love the White House, one of the most beautiful buildings (homes) I have ever seen,” he tweeted. “But Fake News said I called it a dump – TOTALLY UNTRUE.”
