The latest crossover concept that is coming from the Citroen is called C-Aircross, and it is due to make a huge debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, which is next month. As I already mentioned it is a concept, but it also offers a preview of what the next gen C3 Picasso will be. As you may or may not know, the C3 Picasso is making a transition from MPV to SUV and is expected to go on sale later this year.

Dimensions of the concept are 4,15 m (163,4 in) in length, 1,4 m (68,5 in) wide and 1,63 m (64,1 in) tall, which makes it pretty much similar to the dimensions of the Nissan Juke. As long as the design side is considered, it is inspired by both the latest generation Citroen C3, and by the C4 Cactus. Some of the exterior features that will immediately catch your eye are the raised bonnet, front and rear protective shields, wheel arch extensions, DRLs integrated into the grille, front bumper air inlets, air outlets built into the side door guards, and a rear diffuser.

Citroen really put a lot of effort into the C-Aircross Concept and besides all above, made sure that it receives two side cameras that replace the exterior mirrors, panoramic sunroof, rear-hinged doors at the rear for better accessibility (taken from the Aircross and CXperience concepts). It also brings a futuristic cabin that has a grey-orange color scheme, single-spoke steering wheel, head-up vision display, and a 12-inch central touchscreen. This is rounded up with 3D connected navigation system with voice recognition, Mirror Screen, ConnectedCam, “Share with U” app, front and rear headrests with built-in speakers and microphones, and smartphone wireless charging. With a list of features like this, we know that this one will be a really desirable vehicle, with a lot of cool and stylish solutions.

The Citroen C-Aircross Concept will, just like the next-generation C3 Picasso, come without the all-wheel drive, and instead, the automaker will offer it with “Grip Control” which is a system that will allow you to easily move on difficult terrain when there isn’t enough of traction. It will come with five different drive modes: Standard, Sand, Off-Road, Snow and ESP Off. Neat ha?!

My name is Miloš Kalajdžić and I come from Brčko DC in Bosnia. I was born on July 20 th 1988 and so far I obtained a BSc in economics and one year of working experience in my field of study. I am a very hard-working person who leaves nothing unfinished and halfway done. When I commit to something I give my best to make sure that everything is done the way as it is supposed to be. I like cars and everything that comes with them. My passion are American muscle cars, but unfortunately the closest I managed to come near one is behind my laptop watching an image of the new Chevy or Dodge and writing about it. But that’s ok I’m still optimistic. When I’m not behind the laptop writing I’m on the streets and auto shows admiring all stuff rolling on four wheels being propelled by a petrol engine!
