Although Christiano Ronaldo is not 100% ready, he was not thrilled that he had to leave the pitch at Estadio Gran Canaria.

Zinedine Zidane, the coach of Real Madrid, decided to give Lucas Vazquez a chance in the 72nd minute of the match. Real Madrid had a 2-1 lead, but in the 85th minute of the match Las Palmas scored a goal and they managed to get one point.

In the ongoing season, Ronaldo has been substituted in two out of four matches. According to MARCA, he and Zidane had made a deal that, in his debut against Osasuna he wouldn’t play full time.

This season is completely different from the previous one for the Portuguese star when he played every minute in first 34 matches in LaLiga. Unfortunately, he got injured late in the season and his streak ended.

He was angry with the substitution and the decision his coach made. It has been clearly seen that he wanted to play the match until the final whistle.

However, Christiano Ronaldo completed the matches against Sporting and Villarreal when he scored the decisive goals, but this time, the outcome was different.

The coach of the team from Madrid, Zidane explained his decision. He said:”It was not that [Ronaldo] was playing badly. We are playing on Tuesday and Cristiano must rest too sometimes. It was just for that. He was playing well. Tonight I took him off thinking of Tuesday’s game.”

He also added:”Angry? That would be your interpretation. He always wants to be on the pitch. We have to take him out sometimes, and we did today. It does not change anything.”
