Chevrolet S10 Trailboss Truck presented in Buenos Aires

The US automaker Chevrolet revealed its S10 Trailboss pickup truck at the Buenos Aires Auto Show. The vehicle in question is an upgraded S10 model that comes with accessories that would make it perfect for rough South American terrains.

The biggest difference between regular S10 and Trailboss version lies in a yellow metallic color and black body details. Summer Jam company was in charge of design and repacking this vehicle. The adventure-aimed truck has a stand out large bumper that features a LED strip headlights. The pickup also has a new set of wheels; an alloy made ones that are painted in black. The lights are also blacked out while the ground clearance is higher compared to the regular model.

Most of the changes which make the difference between ordinary and this version of S10 are based on the outside of the truck. Nonetheless, there are also some small details and tweaks made to the interior. Here are few things that are new and a list of stuff shared among standard S10 and Trailboss. The changes are limited to the Trailboss trademark logo imprinted onto the doors and seats. The seats are black and have orange stitches. From additional features, you have JBL audio system, while as standard on both vehicles you have air conditioning, touchscreen display with MyLink connectivity, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, OnStar system, pre-collision alert, and lane departure warning.

Chevrolet S10 Trailboss is powered by a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine capable of producing 200 hp and 500 Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and has AWD driving system. No further specifications were revealed during the S10 Trailboss presentation in the capital of Argentina.

The Detroit-based company didn’t disclose when this vehicle is going to hit the markets. The only known thing is that it is going to enter serial production before the year ends which means that we could be seeing it in the dealerships in the first months of 2018.
