Chesapeake Shores Season 2 Begins Filming on Vancouver Island

Hallmark’s Chesapeake Shores Season 2 with Jesse Metcalfe and Meghan Ory as leads, will start filming on Vancouver Island.

Since it has become one of Hallmark’s most watched and most popular TV series ever during Season 1, filming of the Chesapeake Shores Season 2 will be on Vancouver Island. Parksville, Nanaimo, Qualicum Beach and Nanoose Bay are taken as the beautiful background of the series, which is located in a small imaginary town on the Atlantic coast in the US.

As the studio said, Chesapeake Shores Season 2 will consist of 10 new episodes, which carry on the storyline about Abby and her family. The series is based on the novels written by Sherryl Woods, New York Times best-selling author. The leading roles belong to Jesse Metcalfe (from Dallas) and Meghan Ory (from Once Upon a Time) who are back to play Trace Riley and Abby O’Brien.

Some of the actors and actresses who are also coming back for Season 2 of Chesapeake Shores are Diane Ladd (from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation), Emilie Ullerup (from Signed, Sealed, Delivered Series), Andrew Francis (from Cedar Cove), Treat Williams (from Everwood), Barbara Niven (from Cedar Cove), Brendan Penny (from Motive) and Laci Mailey (from Falling Skies).

At the time, Chesapeake Shores Season 2 will carry on with filming on Vancouver Island until July 18th. Currently, it is expected to premiere on Hallmark Channel in the US on July 23rd.

This week, there is another TV show starting with their filming: A Series of Unfortunate Events, particularly Season 2 and Season 3. The cast includes some famous names such as Neil Patrick Harris (from How I Met Your Mother), Louis Hynes (from Barbarians Rising), Malina Weissman (from Supergirl) and Presley Smith. The filming will probably continue until April 20th, 2018.

As for TV shows that are wrapping up this week, we have Season 5 of Arrow, and then Bridal Boot Camp, both of them finish on April 20th. And on April 21st, Season 3 of The Flash will also be wrapping up.
