What Is The Ceiling Of Timberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins?

Most of the people forgot about Andrew Wiggins last season as Karl-Anthony Towns had an unbelievable year. He was not only the best rookie in the NBA last season but was also one of the best players in the whole league. This year, Wiggins is back, and he is putting on a show for the young Wolves’ team and their fans.

When we saw him in High School, we talked about him as the next LeBron. Now, it’s clear that he is not going to be just like King James. That’s not a knock against him, though. It’s tough to fill the shoes of one of the best players ever to play this game.

This doesn’t mean that Wiggins won’t be a superstar in the NBA. He is putting everybody on notice that he is still here and that he is going to be a big-time player. When we think about him, we think about him as an improved version of DeMar DeRozan. He is a bit quicker, a bit more athletic, with a better three-point shot than the Raptors’ superstar.

And yes, he is going to be a much better defender than DeMar ever thought of being. This man has the potential to be the best small forward/shooting guard in the game. He is crafty and knows how to get the job done. Looks impressive and comfortable with who he is as a player. Better than DeMar on the low post, that’s not even debatable.

Tracy McGrady also comes to mind when we watch Wiggins, but he is a bit more versatile than him, but not as good of a scorer. That is what Wiggins can achieve in the NBA, and we have no doubt that he’ll get there one day.
