Carolina Panthers vs. Tennessee Titans – Preseason Week 2 Predictions

Source: titansonline.com

Carolina Panthers have had a bad year in 2016, and they are certainly going to try and improve. The running back is what they were missing last season, and they have sorted that out now. Cam Newton was decent, but he needs to return to that MVP level in order for this team to be successful. We aren’t worried about what he is going to do this season, but he needs to get the help from the other guys.

Especially, that defense. They need to use this Preseason to figure out that secondary that gave them so much trouble last year. It really wasn’t anything as good as they had in 2015 and it is the main reason why they struggled so hard early in the year.

On the other hand, we have the Titans that are a better squad than they were last year. DeMarco Murray has finally found his stride with the Titans and is going to be their main weapon on the offensive side of the ball. Mariota is in his third year now and has shown a lot of promise last season with some big games, big throws, and big runs.

The Carolina Panthers have had a good start to the preseason as they nabbed a win in their first game and we think that they will continue playing well. We might even see Cam Newton in this match and some of his main weapons on the offensive side of the ball. That is probably going to be the most interesting thing for the Panthers fans to look for as their starting quarterback is the one that should carry this squad on his shoulders in 2017. We are going to pick the Panthers to win this duel 21:14 in a tight game that is going to be up and down affair for both teams.
