Cardinals And Seahawks End Up Tied After Both Kickers Choke At The End

Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks are two of the best teams in the NFC. We had a chance to watch them battle on Sunday Night Football in Arizona. After a tough regular 60 minutes of football, two teams were tied at 3. Only one field goal in the game will probably cost them the win in almost all situations, but this time it was enough for the OT.

Arizona scored a field goal on their first drive to put all of the pressure on Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. They responded in a big fashion, but just couldn’t get the ball to the end zone and needed to settle for three points.

Then, the unthinkable happened. Cardinals kicker Catanzaro had a chance to win the game with a 24-yard Field Goal kick, but it was wide right, and he missed it. But, that was not all.

Seattle had a great drive going on on the next series of plays and had to settle for a 28-yard game-winning FG attempt. Steven Hauschka took it but missed it wide left, and the game was finished with a 6:6 tie.

This is the first tie since Packers and Vikings did it back in 2013. Seattle is still at the top of the division followed by the Cardinals at 3-3-1. Without a doubt, Seahawks is a squad that is more satisfied at this moment since they were the road team and have the lead in the division, but there is no doubt that both crews went into the locker room disappointed.
