Today is the last matchup of Week 5 as two divisional rivals are going head-to-head. The winner will stay alive in a race for the divisional crown, while losers season will most likely be done. It’s a must win for Carolina especially as they are a team that many picked to go all the way.
But, they won’t have their best player on the field. Cam Newton will miss this game because of a concussion. Derek Anderson will lead this team tonight, so it is a good question can Tampa Bay exploit that tonight and steal one on the road?
The defense that Bucs have was just atrocious so far. One of the worst teams against the pass and against the run. Winston has been hot and cold to start the season, just like their squad in total. They are in a big hole to start the season just like their rivals and they need this game to keep the dream alive.
We think Winston can lead this team in Carolina. Panthers’ defense is just as bad as they looked in Atlanta when Julio Jones torched them for 300 yards. And Matty Ice was on fire too as he finished with 500 yards on his scorecard. We don’t know who to pick now when Cam Newton is out. Our pick is just as good as yours, and this game could go in any direction. But we are going with Winston and his Bucs to win this match. And don’t ask us why.
