BREAKING: ISIS terrorists plotted to blow up Times Square in assault on New York

Latest news about terrorist activities is coming from New York where three men were arrested. According to reports, it was uncovered that they planned to detonate explosives in Times Square.

Fortunately, the execution has been prevented by the police, and their goal was to place explosives at two locations, Times Square and the New York City subway.

With about 33,000 tourists every day, Times Square terrorist attack could be quite devastating.

The alleged attacks, as it has been stated by US prosecutors, were planned by ISIS members in summer 2016.

It was originally intended by terrorists to conduct the deadly strike in line with Omar Mateen’s attack on Orlando’s nightclub when 49 was killed, and 58 were wounded.

Since May 2016 Abdulrahman El Bahnasawy Canadian citizen that is 19 has been arrested and held in U.S. custody. According to prosecutors report it has been noticed that this man has bought materials that would allow him to make a bomb. He has also helped to get a cabin close to New York City which would be used to stage the attack.

Later on according to prosecutors, in October 2016, he has pleaded guilty to the charges of terrorism.

Also, a 19-year-old U.S. citizen, Talha Haroon, that lived in Pakistan was arrested as it was planned for this man to move to the US and help out with the plan of the bombing.

Russell Salic was also arrested as it has been reported that he was funding this attack. This 37-year-old citizen of the Philippines is in the local prison.

Extradition of Salic and Haroon is expected to happen soon, and they will be brought to the U.S. where they will be facing charges against them. These include conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism and to support a terrorist organization.

According to laws, it is possible for these two men to spend their lives in prison for their plans to execute an attack.
