BlackBerry

BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s two enterprise products have won CTIA Super Mobility 2015 Awards in different categories. The awards were organized by CTIA- the Wireless Association. BlackBerry’s WatchDox by BlackBerry emerged top in its category while the BlackBerry Blend came in second in its category. However, BlackBerry’s other participating product, BES12 Cloud, struggled and ended with a dismal show as it emerged last among five finalists in its category.

BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s finalists for this year’s CTIA Awards turned up mixed results, almost same as last year. In the 2015 CTIA Awards, WatchDox and Blend put up an exciting show to emerge first and second in their respective categories. Although BES12 Cloud made it to the finalist list of five, it emerged bottom.

Last year, it was almost the same story but with different casts. The BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s Audi Virtual Cockpit, which is based on QNX and features in the 2015 Audi TT, topped in its category. The other BlackBerry enterprise solution, BES10, managed to take second place in its group. As such, the company had two wins in the 2014 CTIA Awards, just like in the 2015 CTIA Awards edition.

This year, different enterprise products put BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) on the map. People voted for the participating products to choose the winners.

WatchDox

WatchDox emerged top overall in the Mobile Security & Privacy category which had five finalists. BlackBerry’s WatchDox trounced Arxan Technologies’ Arxan, which is offered as an application protection for the Internet of Things platform. Other finalists that fell behind WatchDox included Data Theorem Scan & Secures from Data Theorem, iDNATM Platform from mSIGNIA and Cellrox Mobile Virtualization from Cellrox Ltd.

BlackBerry Blend

The BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’ Blend emerged second in the Mobile Applications, Development and Platforms category, only behind Kony MobileFabric from Kony, Inc. The group had finalists such as 3rd Generation PRiSMPro from KORE and other enterprise solutions from Geotab and LifeSafe.

BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s BES12 Cloud was beaten by Citrix XenMobile from Citrix, AirWatch by VMware Enterprise, AT&T Work Platform by AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) and SOTI MobiControl 12 from SOTI.
